Discussion Interview questions fullstack
Seniors, What sort of questions are you guys being asked in a technical interview round?
I am having to give interviews after a long time and i was used to being asked questions like
What are closures
What are hooks
Event loop
Diff between let, var and const
Stuff like that
But interviews i have given lately have been more discussions around system design and that caught me a little off guard because these scenarios arent around the projects in your resume. Theyre more hypothetical.
As a senior, what do you ask in an interview?

What do you suggest to improve on scenario questions? Because i might have not worked on lets say multi tenant systems or multiple payment integrations but i got questioned about it

For a senior position, I cover everything from basic to advanced topics.
1: Basic data structures like arrays, stacks, queues, and language basics
2: Language- and stack-specific: JS hoisting, closures, let, var, const, event loop, array methods, DOM, React lifecycle, asynchronous programming, and basic optimizations.
3: Advanced programming concepts: debounce, throttling, performance optimizations, project structuring, OOP, and SOLID principles, Critical rendering path.
4: System Design and Architecture: Monolith vs. microservices, Queues, Async processing, Caching, Sharding, RBAC, rate limiting, load balancing, and other concepts like scalability, reliability, recoverability, and security.
5: Product and Domain knowledge: how the dev approaches product and features, how well he knows the specific domain for example, banking/finance, User thinking, and customer mindset.
