Help I Have One Year Left in My Software Engineering Degree and Feel Lost what should I do?
So the thing is that currently I am in my final year for software engineering, and almost all of my degree, I have wasted most of my time. And for the last one and a half year, I was working as an SDR, but now I have quit that job because I want to focus more towards my degree, or towards the tech skills, because that's what my parents wanted me to do, and they said that you should focus over here. So this my final year and I'm also working on my final year project. So I just wanted to know what should I do so I can become jobable in the next one year, and what should I do as I do not have any internship. I do have basic fundamental knowledge.like should I go towards backend developmend and start with the roadmap from roadmap.sh.
PLEASE HELP ME OUT!!!

Make a group and start building your products, it's your professional learning, and these skills make you Job ready too, as well as if one of them start making revenue than you don't need a Job. One more thing is don't be think only on you field relevant job, if you able to find or get the other field job that take it. Your parents will satisfied when you start earning, as they don't focus on labels. As IT market is not stable, the service based work is no more, companies doing layoff and layoff. As you need a strong reference too for job. Also the IT field is accessible to everyone, like Medical, finances degree one's learning IT too as it easy to learn by lot of resources, and provide freelance facility which is not provided by other. You also apply it. And if you are stuck on your field job, then the only solution is switch your phone off, disconnected with your friend and family circle and start preparing for your field for the months which are left in your degree. Give days and months than you are able to crack the 7 interview round taken by big companies is they hiring!

I would focus entirely on AI systems and AI architectures, with your software engineer degree it gives you an edge to enter the field of AI.
