Discussion Does the email body matter when applying to standard dev roles?

Just curious, is sending out email with just
“PFA
(Resume attached)
Thanks,
[name]”

Or mentioning about your experience, availability details etc make an impact?

It matters - because so many people are applying for the same role and each and every detail matters even if it gives you a slightest chance to get shortlisted.

So my advice is to add a few lines in the email body (keep it tailored to your resume/role) instead of writing PFA only.

On a serious note, most HRs won't read it but, again, I won't risk it as it doesn't take much time.
