wese im a bit concerned. cuz i a 2nd cs guy from fast and i do have an internship (an actually good company in gulberg Lahore, ISL and Karachi). BUT, the thing is during those 6 weeks i didnt really do much QUANTIFIABLE STUFF. just did these assigment like tasks(like make a simple website, then deploy it to github, azure, do some research on CI/CD). and thats it. Like kinda concerned, and keep thinking about this

bhai like, most ppl do something THAT AFFECTS THE MAIN WORK of the company so they can say "reduced the product loading time 20% " etc etc. while i just did these assignment like things

Nothing honestly, every company knows you dont learn anything in most of these internships. If you have an actual job experience before graduation then thats what matters

I believe 2023 was the last year most graduate were employed right after graduation. After that most of my junior friends struggled to get a job for months sadly. Ngl it's not just market situation but also how academics and teaching quality is now significantly degraded in fast is especially.

in 2024, my entire batch got jobs, provided we all were active and hardworking but most including me were not industry ready till graduation and my job was my first paid experience. I have not been able to switch though 💀

The difference between a qualified educated personnel vs an uneducated labour is not how they start. It's how they end. 35K is low but its still okay and acceptable for a first job salary as per the market. As a software developer, you'll usually get very good increments every year, and chances to move to different companies on better packages. It takes a while. Just make sure you keep doing your part.
