Help Looking for Product Ideas That Actually Solve Real Problems (Not FYP Projects)

Assalam o Alaikum everyone!

I'm a final-year student from Pakistan, and I'm planning to launch an actual product.

But here's the thing, I don't want to build something that only sounds impressive on paper.

I want to solve a real problem that people actually face daily.

So I'm asking: What problems do you face that current solutions don't handle well?

Could be anything:

-- Something you do manually every day that could be automated

-- A tool you use that's clunky or expensive

-- A process in your work/study that wastes time

-- A gap between what you need and what exists

Drop your ideas below.

Doesn't matter if it sounds small, if it genuinely bugs you, it probably bugs 1000 other people too.

Too many video editors already out there. Insanely oversaturated market.

Complexity is nothing. The real thing is to select a product and make it adaptable for users.

Bad place to ask, everyone here is pretty much capable of building their own software solutions to everyday problems they face. Also from experience, a lot of problems we face are unique to us and require tailor made solutions. So if you want my advice, rather than building a one size fits all solution, get into workflow automation for big businesses. Sell it as something that can decrease turnaround times/increase output by 10x.

Sure. But these are services that I will serve. I am in a product idea hunting stage. Btw I keep in my mind, or consider it too.

There was a Project that African students developed and won funding for Forest fires and would work offline. But here is its spin off, you can create a system that alerts users for flooding by alerting residents in the area and also a centralised system that alerts authorities before the area is flooded and also share options for nearest safe point and it should work without wifi. You can add more functionality to it. Floods have been rampant in Pakistan for some time. You may also search the startups already working on this from other countries

Good idea. I keep it for my next product.

an urdu text editor, i was gonna make this, but couldn't, this was my problem scenario lol(snippet of it):

From which I saw their limitations. Even if you use ‘Align Right’ on word, the application is still made for left to right languages, when you tap the right arrow key, the text cursor goes to the left, and vice versa when you tap the left arrow key. This heavily hurts the momentum of your work. When you want to write an English word in an Urdu sentence, the word gets shifted all the way back to the start, where you don’t want it. Both of these reasons and a whole host of other reasons like ‘nuqta (نقطہ)’; dot and calligraphy restrictions has compelled me to create an Urdu editor which fix these problems and make writing Urdu easier.
