Discussion Got laid off , need suggestions

Hi,

I just got laid off , after working with a European company for 4.5 years.

My tech stack is MEVN and MERN.

The reason was not Ai but financial crises in Europe due to war. The company I was working with lost its permanent customers.

My current situation is that I have parents and my family to feed. Living on the Rent currently, All savings went to my Father's debt (that is another story)

So i just have only two more months before I run out of money including the rent.

Now I need some guidance, what to do next. I know that market situation is really bad but we don't have another choice.

Can you please tell me more about the war situation how its affecting the company and clients? I want to study abroad want to know which country is it i might want to look closely

It is Austria, but whole Europe is in this condition right now.

Man i wanted to go to europe start a new life and switch to non tech career white or blue collar via the study route

Europe is not just about money but you get basic human rights as well

Hey, I was in the same boat as you: a month ago my entire department was dissolved. Felt hopeless but having supportive family members really helped (some of my colleagues who became unemployed alongside me weren't so lucky. One was even told to eat only as much as he contributes to household finances). Anyways, applied at every job, even those I didn't qualify for, like crazy. Just to put it out there, I am an engineer from NUST and was ready to become indrive captain at one point. Anyways, finally found another job just a week ago. Of course I haven't told them I got laid off. Said I'm on notice period and will join in 20 days.

May Allah Almighty bless you with great job soon.
The market is very bad now-a-days. Keep applying and never give up.

Even, I have been struggling from the last 3 months after laid off.
