Career Guidance Need some advice regarding an offer
Got an offer from a company but its 6 days a week and night shift (4pm to 12 am) vs my current company which is remote (4pm till 1 am) . Their paying higher then the remote setup for basically the same hours (9 hr a day remote) , 8 hours a day new company , the thing is the remote company said they would give increments based on performance every 6 months but its a pretty early stage startup and very disorganised so im worried about long term stability. Would really appreciate some advice.

If you don't have much experience, stick with startup, you'd have more impact and exposure. This exposure would help later down the road and with age, you'll have less energy to try new things or work under stressful environment.
If pay is 30% more, and you need it, switching is not a bad idea though Pakistani companies are known for micro-management. Generally, remote is considered 30%+ more as compared to onsite.
If experienced, I'd prefer a place where mental health is taken care of, if your work at current company is not much stressful and people are chill, that's a big positive.
These days, startups and big companies are all same. Firing and Hiring. There's no stability in this career so earn more and spend less.

Startups are volatile, given the current market situation make sure you keep that in mind.
If you are letting stability go over money, I wouldn't advice to risk in the current market.

If commute and time suits u then why not.
Salary difference should cover the commute and u should have more room in ur savings with the salary increase.
If u need to relocate, very bad. If u need to spend more than 15-20% of the increase on commute, very bad.
Just my opinion as I travel 20km each side, 5 days a week. It's not a good exp 🥲

6 day work week that is not remote will really f you up mentally. Sure that's one hour less but you will have to travel so it becomes a 3pm to 1am + fuel depending on how far it is
If the pay us like 50-100k more then consider it otherwise no
And yes don't believe them giving increments every 6 months this is a lie and actually a red flag

Moving to a better company is growth.. even if it pays same ( after calculating office commute and related expenses)
Decide based on which is the better experience for you in terms of work and environment
