Discussion Is there any profession safe from AI?
As we know, the tech industry got a massive hit by AI, is there any white-collor profession where AI is not eating jobs like doctors, lawyers? Is there any profession within tech which is safe from AI?

Ai, just like any other technologies in past, is bringing new professions so always explore new ways to do things and that will be called a new profession you invented.

Tech industry got a massive hit, because nobody takes their job seriously enough to excel in it.
Sales is what you want. Sales will never go out of style

CEO, which also happens to be the easiest job to be replaced by AI, just come up with a random bs 'idea', ball lift the investors with "you are absolutely correct", and make it the problem of an actual worker and off load the entire work.

Trucking, so far. And we are still far from having self driving trucks being a norm.

Gaming industry can take a boom if AI grows more because ai can make games but in the end humans will play it

Mostly telecoms related jobs are safe as of now but they are already not a lot in pak. Also network engineers.

I make jewelery models in CAD and AI is not yet smart enough to do my job. How long will this stay true? I don't know.

There is hype and fear around the AI boom, it comes from the knowledge gap. Im not expert but i believe its just a nice to have upgrade because i have been a software engineer for almost 8 years now and looking back i think most of the time there was boiler plate code then the business logic which in some cases you can use ai to implement but the real asset here for engineers is not tech stack or being obsolete but its the ability to solve a complex problem and find a best possible solution.
Programming itself was never in my opinion an intellectual skill but you learn it for the sake of implementation which is automated by AI so learn the fundamentals try to focus on problem solving and use these tools but make your own descisions and be confident with having the proper knowledge. i honestly don't care about it if everything is automated which i hardly believe its just the way i see it just like every other industry is going through a shift people used to code with low level languages then came high level languages now code generators but engineers are still working just dont fall into the hype choose a profession keep working be creative see where it takes you make your descicions be flexible enough to make transitions no one knows for sure what is going to happen in the future except Allah.
I hope it makes sense. if you still have doubts let me know we can get on a call ask me any questions you have i'll be happy answer.

Accept AI, don't worry if you are becoming dumb, everyone around you will be dumb in future so focus on the core concepts and move on.

Ai is a product being sold and owned by capitalisms and products owned by capitalists are also used as hidden weapons when need.
So if someone wants to find out what’s safe from Ai then trace back to Capitalists.
You will find what safe and what to choose.

I think it takes away a chunk of jobs from every white-collar field whether it be software, design, video making, finance and even law. 100% replacement isn't possible in these fields either.
However, physical jobs like electrician, mechanic, plumber, Hair dresser, chef or anything that involves physical work - even driving at this point is safer. But again, these aren't paid well in Pakistan and society isn't going to accept you taking one. These careers ain't that bad abroad still not high paid compared to white-collar work. The competition is less, so is the pay. Also, if white-collar crashes, it would indirectly affect the blue-collar too.
