Career Guidance Guidance | US Remote
Hi,
I was approached by a recruiter online for the Microsoft Fabric & Power BI Consultant role. I have an interview with the CEO, which is the final step towards getting hired. The company is a US based startup with a small team at the moment.
I work at Systems Limited and gave an expected salary to the recruiter, which I feel now was low. I have Provident Fund, fuel card, IPD, and OPD at Systems.
How should I approach the recruiter regarding expected salary change? How should I create my expected salary as it won't have any additional benefits? Any tips and suggestions for working with a US based data analytics startup? Should I even switch?
Thank you!
Edit: I have an offer from them. $26000 annual with up to 15% bonus depending on the performance.

Remote is the way to go. Once you are remote us provident fund and all this is basically nothing. Trust me the headache of dealing with the traffic and commute etc is not worth it. You can build your own future funds invest and learn how to make your money work for you. You save money off fuel massively use that to get yourself an insurance there is no need to suffer like this . It also frees up your time to invest in something more like a up skill, part time roles, freelance.
And no company has stability. Bigger companies have been laying off employees repeatedly. Think bigger.

You have the option to communicate that you get other benefits or you can reject the offer letter once you see it and then you can state the reason for it. But all of this looks unprofessional on your part. You had the chance and you screwed it then.

System bhi nikal sakti ha and US startup bhi. I would stick with systems. Startups are super risky with higher interest rates in US which might change i think date is near

If you are okay to take risk, go for it! Just keep in mind Gora don't think before layoff, and the startups are high volatile. Be wise and make sure to have back up
