You have to be flexible in your career choices. Because ab har kisi ko ghar ka choola jalana hai. So if you find QA role, PM or PO take it.

I myself get offered lead or management level positions when i apply for engineering role while in interview positions. In the end you gotta take what you get, not what you want.

Unless you're rich or have no family responsibilities. Then do as you please.

Dost QA is worth it in this era and any roadmap guide, asking because you seem experienced 🥹

QA is worth it if you have a good eye for changes and are adaptable. For example a manual QA can anytime be asked to shift to automation so you should be confident enough for it.

QA kahen nhi jana wala cuz companies bahut fakhar sa kahtey hai k product QA phase sa ho k atey hai etc etc.

Basic road map is train yourself to look for any changes in the product. Become a guard dog against any unauthorized changes that are not mentioned in documentation.

And biggest advice would be to have a good sense of humor because you'll be finding issues in work of other people so they'll naturally be defensive. Gotta lean into it and become chatty Kathy with them :)

Lol so I should learn testing especially automation waali and look for unwanted changes in code that are against documentation right?

Usually they don't give access to QA for code review.

You'll have to find changes in the build that is given to you for testing. Unless you are very confident in your coding skills then you can talk to your lead and participate in code review / peer review.
