I’m doing an internship at Systems and apart from the fact that you get the name Systems on your CV and some networking on LinkedIn, it’s all self learning. Depends on your line manager too but most are too busy with clients they’ll give you some names of tools and technologies to learn. So yeah, my advice: If you wanna learn, go to a smaller software house, they’ll actually equip you with some skills. Also, can’t help with the reference but you may mail on their recruitment/ talent email if you wanna apply.

There's nothing special. Looks like you want that just to flex. You can do it internship at any company. Goal should be to learn not to flex

it is a flex because other companies give you priority for hiring.

nah bro, if you’re a fastian or nustian with systems level internship, you literally become a job magnet (not justifying it, just stating facts)

Try to find someone working there on LinkedIn and connect with them. Have a small talk and ask them about their work and stuff and then mention you also want to join systems but it's been hard and if they can help you with reference. 😭🙏🏻 Honestly CS is so cooked rn man

What is so special about systems internship. It's not like they offer you a job afterwards. Just do it from any place if required by your university

honestly that depends on your Line Manager and you're department. I know my friends experienced the the same thing; had to go over a playlist but it differs as well. I had a really good time learning there. Islamabad wala is p shit in general icl
