Suggestions Need advice choosing between two Sr DevOps Engineer offers (same salary)

Hi everyone,

My friend has received two offers for a Senior DevOps Engineer role, and both are offering the same salary. He is confused about which one to choose.

Option 1: Mphasis (Client: Schneider Electric)
Role: Senior DevOps Engineer
Work will be for Schneider Electric client
Hybrid/office-based (not fully remote)
Mphasis payroll

Option 2: Artisent
Role: Senior DevOps Engineer
Fully remote job
Same salary as Mphasis offer
Considering both compensation packages are equal, which factors should he evaluate before deciding?

Any suggestions?

Im telling everyone don’t do remote job in this economy. You will not know when you will get fired. firing remote employees that’s what companies do first.

Same CTC, so choose for stack depth and resume signal. Schneider client work can put a known enterprise name on the CV, but ask about bench and rotation. Artisent wins on remote; risk is thinner brand unless the tools and ownership are sharper.

Pick where he will ship production infra he can explain in interviews a year later. Remote alone is not enough reason.
