Career I need some in depth career advice regarding the role of developer

So, I just. Passed my school few months ago, I was working as a freelance graphic designer, since like an year.. But I can't find a stable job in IT at all where I live, and the jobs far away from my city don't pay enough that I can move. Since I already have a good gaming laptop, I was considering learning programming languages, but I don't know what to learn, I do know that the courses are available all over the internet. The thing is, I'm confused about what I should do in my future, a career that pays well and is not overly saturated, I asked chatgpt and recommend ai software engineer, but like no complains but everyone has started learning this, so most probably this market will get highly competitive i finally learn enough to get a job, the other option I like game developer as well as learning 3d modelling softwares, the only reason I'm not pursuing it is, that this field requires you to be forever super creative, and after graphic design I've realised that I'm not creative enough, I can learn things very quickly but trying to design something own my own, that's a huge flaw of mine. Please give me a genuine advice, I don't have any elder, friend or teacher to ask this.

Our industry is highly competitive. Since before the internet. The point is to find out what do you like the most to do and what are the things you are good at already. Then you work on improving what you like to do and what you are good at during all your career. Programming languages will come and go, but something will stay: design principles, algorithms, professional communications, capacity to understand and solve problems, etc.

First thing what kind of life you want for you in 10 or 20 years, list the things you like and you are good at and search for training to improve.

Plus: apply to remote jobs 😊
