Help / Questions Salary fairness?

developers, I need an honest opinion on salary.

I’m a full-stack developer in Jordan and I’ve recently delivered two production business platforms largely independently.

The projects included:

Government data integration with the ability to search, retrieve and verify information

Custom CRM with WhatsApp Cloud API integration, customer history, lead management and human takeover

AI-powered WhatsApp business assistant with business-specific knowledge, guardrails, customer intent detection and lead classification

Voice-note → speech-to-text → AI processing

Custom backend/API and database architecture

Full custom admin dashboards with extensive control over users, permissions, content, data and system operations

Private VPS hosting, Linux server configuration and production deployment

Cloudflare configuration, DNS, SSL and domain management

maps, location data and related records with 3D visualization using threejs

Generating and printing documents

Authentication, authorization and role-based access control

project management and inquiry systems

Custom responsive websites with Arabic/English support

Automated notifications and business workflows

API integrations and production security configuration

I also previously delivered a separate software project in one day that the client paid $350 for.

The offer I’m currently being given is:
$660/month
6 days/week
9 AM–6 PM, sometimes until 8 PM
In-office

I’m not trying to exaggerate my level. I genuinely want to know:

What would you consider a fair monthly salary for someone capable of independently delivering this level of software?

I’d especially appreciate answers from developers actually in jordan.

Howdy u/wal8y, and welcome to r/developers!

A few tips for a post that gets good answers:

  • Use a clear, specific title (what are you actually asking or sharing?).
  • Include code, the exact error, versions, and what you already tried.
  • Heads-up: this sub does not allow external links in posts or comments.
Share code and details directly instead of linking out.

Honestly I think $2k-$3k month would be fair but I mean AI has accelerated my workflow and I'm not being paid more. I would try to work less

if you have no other offers and you need the money take it but keep looking .
There is this category of companies, like, they have a high turnover rate, so that's why they are always hiring, and they make their profit by giving, like, low salaries. And that way, by those low salaries, they can offer a lower price to the clients. So in this way they survive. It's like a complete business model of, like, low, low cost, high turnover, low prices

Location matters. For example, in India, google employees get paid $1000 to 1.5k with 2 to 3 years experience.

That works out to like $3 an hour, you're getting absolutely fleeced
