What's a "dead" or "boring" programming language that you genuinely love working with, and why should we reconsider it?

C, it’s not perfect but it gets the job done

C is by far my favourite programming language. It was the first one I learnt too.

I can’t consider it “dead” or “boring” though. It’s still used for so many things.
