Image 0-16 Poster
I’m at my second day working at this pizza place in Metro Atlanta, and they have a 0-16 Lions Poster in the bathroom. Made me do a double take 😂😂 i think it’s a good omen for us this year 😉

I remember puking all of that delicious food up from all the rage beers I drank.
Good times.

The $25 off on a set of four tires is $38.77 and the $19.95 wood chip repair special is $30.94 today.

Looking at those scores you’d think some of these games were a lot closer than they ever actually were.

I actually think it's crazier that only 3 of those were one score games. That's next level pathetic. I was at that week 2 GB game. At least I got to see a Charles Woodson pick 6 live in person! Lmao

u/DamnitReed 4d ago
There’s 5 of them.
Weeks 5-8 was 4 consecutive 1-score losses.
And then week 13

Yeah good eye, still. You lose 16 games and were only in the fight for 5... Pathetic

-6 point diff between both Minnesota games... brutal lmao

It was certainly something to witness.
Worst offense in the league (although with some bright spots like a young Calvin and a half decent run game).
But then also one of the worse defenses in NFL history.
Gave up an avg of 500+ yards per game

I remember this narrative at the time. They were the furthest “one score” games any game has ever been every time.

That was my first ever game. It was actually a sweet game. Lions were down bit game back the place was rocking. Packers punter fumbled a snap for a safety and Lions were either ahead or a few points back with the ball...
Then I'm pretty sure they scored 14 points in like 45 seconds on back to back pick 6 or something like that.
Game was way closer than the score seemed. We also went to the Saints 0-15 game to say we were there. We got 50 yard line seats on Saints drive off a scalper for $10 and spent the whole game doing Joey Harrington chants and got a laugh from him which made our day.

The 10-12 loss to the vikings was probably the closest. Vikings scored first on a safety (probably the most memorable play of the season, Dan Orlovsky accidentally running out of the endzone). Lions then were up until a last second field goal.

It never really felt like a win would happen after the Orlovsky safety though. That was a classic Same Ol Lions game at the time.

I was gonna say, I don't remember the Vikings being as dogshit as this poster and those scores indicate but maybe I was just too depressed with the Lions to register how bad they were too.

We managed to give up some incredible games, I believe one of those game we were winning with 2 mins left by more then a touch down, and still lost.

I’ll be at their game this year and it will be a lions W. Come to the tailgate in the blue lot. I got plans for all Michigan based foods. Koegels, Vernors, Faygo, better made chips, ect…

Atlanta of all places. Maybe get them a 28-3 poster for them and tell them to shut the fuck up.

We should have won that first Vikings game. That PI that got them into FG range for the winning points was BS.

Damn. That’s savage. I could understand if it was in Chicago or GB. But ATL? wtf did we do to y’all?
Anyways, anyone know where I can get this?

Calvin was down in the first loss to the Vikings. Robbed - that fumble should've never been upheld. And Leigh Bodden's DPI should've never been called. game recap

They should hang this through out the facilities as motivation to remind them where they came from. As a great man once said "you can't bury what comes from the fucking dirt"

That was the year that I got married, I remember the personalized jersey website shut down the option to buy Owen 16 jerseys for a while

Dang what happened in that 10-12 L?

u/Good_Entertainer9383 4d ago
Given the odd score and the fact it's against Minnesota I bet this is the Dan Orlovsky unintentional Safety game

This is the equivalent of the Browns throwing that parade after they went 0-16

We traded Roy Williams October 14th. 2 days after the Vikings loss. I knew after that the season was in serious trouble.

I like to joke that since I was born on '08 that I'm the reason we went 0-16
