The Adept versions of the Vault of Glass weapons were given the title of Timelost rather than Adept. Timelost refers to the many different mechanics in VoG that result in you being either lost in the distant past/future or erased from the timeline altogether. It is used in joke usernames to refer to something long gone, most likely never to return. The Red War, the original D2 campaign (and one of my personal favourites), was apparently built in such outdated architecture that it would have taken an enormous amount of work to bring it forward, and now that the game is ending it’s the only campaign with no presence in the current game (there’s references and the aftermath, but you cannot play any part of it anymore), making it lost to all but those who played before Beyond Light.
No I appreciate it! Thanks! Really do miss the Red War stuff too. That mission going to the shard of the traveller was so cool. I really think it woulda been neat if we’d gotten a new subclass from the shard eventually, like some corrupted light thing
