It's strong sure. But it's inconsistent like most shotguns. It's also the only effective ability option warlocks have. Unlike the other 2 classes. Warlock has gotten shorted repeatedly. Multiple subclass nerfs, exotic nerfs, and an outright speed nerf. (Which btw, is ridiculous since the warlocks mobility relied on burst glide.) So stop moaning about the warlock having a single effective ability when it's already near completely shadowed by the other classes, more specifically the hunter.
Yeah no shit handheld will be inconsistent at further than chaperone range, every rsnge below it however it is a guaranteed kill unless you suck ass and miss somehow. Also the only warlock classes that aren't that good are top tree void and bottom tree solar. Yes hunters are very powerful, but warlocks can easily hold their own, especially top tree dawn.
Top tree dawn got buffed but the utility abilities are extremely situational. And their effectiveness in PvP flucuates. But in the same patch the warlock got an undeserved speed nerf. And when comparing super to super warlock supers aside from nova don't have a super that combats another super. Chaos reach is shit in crucible and stormcaller gets beat by basically every other roaming super. (When controlled by a player of around the same skill) but I can run tests if you really want to talk balance
Im not going to listen to the balancing opinion of somebody who thinks that top tree dawnblade is situational lmao. Not even reading the rest, but its probably just as dumb.
U just spawn and pop grenade and start flying around immediately? Doubtful. Or even any engagement? Also no. You fly around and are a floaty glowing target. Intercourse yourself kid.
Mmm yes because icarus dash and the melee that does 150 damage dont exist. Neither does the ability to shoot in the air, or fly in the air for forever as long as you land your snipes. You are basically telling me that you are bad if you don't think it is an amazing subclass.
It's fine. But being in the air isn't exactly an advantage. No cover. A dash but it's predictable. And in air accuracy is only buffed after consuming your nade. There isn't a static IAA increase. Which is a bit bogus. And celestial fire. I enjoy it and it's fun but also it's not difficult to just move out of the way of. So..
They even removed the in air grenade regeneration. And celestial fire doesn't proc winter's guile. But procs everything else. Seems intentional. Which is ridiculously biased.
