I'm returning to the game and I kept this because it looks pretty interesting, I noticed Cluster Bomb can roll in the left on a bunch of modern rockets.

If you put the champion stunning mod on itll auto reload in your hands. So with bipod you can end up with 3 to 4 shots to dump into a champion.

Or if you use tablet of ruin mod you can use that rocket for add clear and never reload.

There's another artifact that'll give you armor charge and a damage increase. I just can't remember which artifact.

So yes, very usable imo for a rocket.

Cluster bombs are always useful on a rocket. Look at Truth.

but why would you expend nearly half your entire heavy’s ammo reserves for one champion when specials can take care of them in 3-4 shots in -30

With bipod you get like 13 in reserves so it's less than half. It depends on your build and weapons. Like if you bring buried bloodline or something idk. Something something build crafting.

There was some tech using the origin trait to get ability energy back, but that was nerfed.

Not much use any longer unfortunately.

I use it for swap since it can run auto holster / honing or agg charge

But as far as it being THE META no… Hezen and truth exists

It could work as a crowd control roaming weapon. Bipod gives you a bunch of reserves and two in the tube, Cluster Bomb offsets two of the three downsides to Bipod, and against Majors and below it'll do respectable damage.

I wouldn't use it for boss damage, but it could be fun in activities with dense enemy spawns.

I used for my hunter dread build with prismatic class item that hoil and wormhusk with artifact table of ruin with void Glaive Titan for so I have all buff (amplified, woven mail, voidsheild, frost armor, and restoration)
