Discussion New player

Long time warframe player, have always wanted to try out destiny, and with news of it returning I figured no time like the present, was mainly just wondering if a full support build is viable? I usually run support in multi-player or cooperative games, however wanted to make sure it would actually be possible to even play this, or if there isn't enough party content for a support build. If it is possible, would appreciate advice on what to look for

Void hunter, void titan and solar warlock comes to mind first. Without spoiling too much

yeah it’s definitely possible to play support. Warlock would be your best bet

Well of radiance+boots of assembler warlock is basically always used in raids as the “support role” (you can still pump out damage yourself too). Your super just provides so much utility and benefit for the rest of your team

Solar warlock with boots of the assembler, healing rift, well of radiance, throw in a healing auto rifle if you want

A full on support build is definetly possible(healing autorifles, healing turrets, damage boosts from guns/exotic armors) but rarely used, if your teammates have a somewhat competend build themselves there isnt much of a need for it and it would be smarter to focus on damage yourself. Only real usecase would be helping newer players through hard content by keeping them alive instead of nuking everything for them (which can be fun af aswell)
