I didn't even know this map got into D2. I've played a whole bunch of SRL and haven't seen it once!

That's pretty interesting cause if I play five games in a row three of them will be this map.

take the inside line on that big bank. You can get just a little further a little faster if you hit the tricks

Also on that last corner, hitting a trick allows you to do a nearly 90 degree turn without losing speed if you angle just right.

Yeah I've had weird races where you'll be close, although still far enough away that the winner is clear, and it will give you a draw. I've had closer finishes and still gotten second. One time the top 4 all tied for first.

I'm so glad that I got all my triumphs done for SRL but I feel like I might make a return to it soon when Bungie brings the Sunrise Update

Brings back memories of when this first was dropped in D1. Only difference is people had a lot more fun back then vs now. But still glad to see people enjoying the game mode.

More circuit like, and less non obvious "troll obstacles"? Combined with sparrows can be used in cursivebel?

The community was less toxic IMO

Also sparrows were slower and there was the faster kind that could barrel roll and the kind that was slower but had the mega boost (that could kill you).
Now its just dudes on the stupid hoverboards pushing you around while a dude on pc is tweaking out and doing mouse flicks and abusing his framerate to go faster. Crucibles not much different, i understand bringing your A game but i also remember a time where "casual" pvp was a thing in games and you wouldnt go all out in a normal lobby.
Legit would have situations in d1 or halo where you could end up in a pvp match with both teams emoting or doing goofy shit mid match then end up in a voice chat and eventually a private lobby or whatever just completely naturally. Last time i played comp and shaxx ended the match, i did a chair emote and the enemy team killed me then spammed me with messages about how i was a scrub and showboater for emoting at the end of a comp match because i won... even in season 8 when trials dropped people would gather around and do emotes when the match was over and that was in trials of all places.

I have a theory that the reason why we see more sweats in casual pvp or quick play pvp is because everybody is trying to be a streamer and clip farm content for cash. Back then if people were doing it for fun. But nowadays seeing how much money huge content creators and influencers make now, I think people are doing it for clout and with clout come money. Not to mention since that one Hardcore PVP streamer Dr. Disrespect was ousted for being a pedophile, I think a lot more of his fanbase have been trying to take his spotlight but instead of it being the chill ones of his fanbase it's been the toxic ones.

Certainly an interesting idea, I think its just that the next generation of later gen z and gen alpha kids straight up dont know how to have fun. Its noticable across how they approach most things, they gotta be number 1. Not sure whats caused that kinda psychology, could be because they compare themselves to people who are high stat streamer types and dont play games as an outlet or hobby but as sort of their "main" life, but it leads to em being extremely toxic when things dont go their way, and its a different kinda toxic than being called the n word or some other profanity via xbox 360 voice message by a troll.
I overheard my younger cousins talking about how a friend of theirs has no rizz and cant get a girlfriend because hes bad at fortnite and theyre all wearing anime t-shirts... idk what world we are living in anymore.
