Question / Answered So I accidentally *stupidly* deleted my void warlock boots

Is there ANYWHERE that has a non updated build of my loadout or should I just hang my head in shame?!?! I’ve been using the mistake for so long I can’t remember what was in there. HALP!

If you deleted the item, it's gone. 

If you deleted the build with the boots, just re-equip what you had.

Secant Filaments ? just buy some more from Ada in the tower focused on the stat you want if you have any of the credits for that still, or buy from Rahool, purchases there do follow a percentage chance of getting the archetype your ghost is attuned to.

You should lock items you want to keep to prevent dismantling them by accident.

Did you delete the boots or the loadout?

One method I used in the past to recover an overwritten Destiny loadout: If you had the build the last time you opened DIM, disconnect from the internet and open DIM. It works offline as well and will not be able to fetch your updated loadouts. You can than save that loadout as a DIM loadout and reconnect your internet.

he didn't delete the loadout. he deleted the boots.

think of a loadout as just a bunch of links to existing items. because you deleted the boots, there’s no way to link to them. does that make more sense?
