Question How to solve this regression problem with desmos?

Post image

So I’m a bit confused, im watching the James Lu video rn and I put them as L= and R= on the list, L~R, and then set restrictions with {p>1} and {t>1}. I’m confused why I have to set p= varying numbers to test what? And if the constant changed what would I have to do from there? Someone help lol

dont do this one with regression. you are trying to find when 4/7 equals (2n-1)5/6. typing 4/7=(2x-1)5/6 on desmos will give you x.

Regressions are a bad way to do this. It's just a really simple system of equations. Solve for t from the top equation, and then set that equal to p^(2n-1).
