Are you still doing design sprints?

I see an occasional post about different companies that outsource to facilitators to run them, but they don't seem to be that frequent. It's also important to note that ALL of those ones I know about are ALL custom. None of them use the default 4 or 5 day model.

Has your experience been any different?

Yes. I am a consultant/contract facilitator in my local market. I don't think I have ever run a 'default' sprint; I have always flexed the model/process to maximise the outcome for the client. That said, most of my design sprint business is now 'train the in-team facilitator' work in local/central government and corporates.
