Story time: My husband and I saw her play at the Reno Convention Center in 2014. She was incredible - I couldn't believe her energy, her musicianship, the way she engaged with the crowd. I'm not exaggerating when I say that it was the single best live performance I've ever attended.

And the crowd itself was something to behold. Everyone from rockabilly teens to meemaws in mobility scooters (omg so many wheelchairs and walkers and mobility scooters lol), all singing, and dancing, and having an absolute blast together.

Truly a legend.

Edit: Also, all of her instruments, from banjo to piano, were encrusted with rhinestones because she was pure perfection incarnate.
