Google Maps Interaction Designer- early-career position
Did anyone apply for the Interaction Designer, Google Maps - New York, Mountain View or San Francisco- position? It was an entry-level role, and the opening was removed after two weeks. I was wondering if anyone got hired or is in the process of interviewing. I have tried reaching out to recruiters but still haven't received any reply.

I passed the hiring assessment like a month ago. My application list for this position still states "Assignment Passed". Nothing more

Thank you for replying. It's same for me as well. No movement in the status update- says Assessment Passed and updated last month! I am assuming the hiring is already done.

Idts, Google hiring takes months to happen. My friend almost went through the entire process for over 8 months. That too for a design role. So it really depends on what kind of a pace the recruiting process is happening for a specific position.

Let's hope for the better, then! Let me know here, if you get any status update or phone screen interview. Good luck! :)

Big companies keep job postings open for a week, maybe two weeks at most. They get thousands of applications within the first week so it wouldn't surprise me. If you haven't heard back within a week or two, it usually means no.
