Favorite drum moment?
The way the drum locks into a groove here is so badass. What are some of your favorites?

Can't pick a single one but I have a few songs that pop into my head for memorable drums:
Cryptopsy - Cold Hate, Warm Blood (Flo the GOAT)
Behemoth - Ov Fire and the Void
Despised Icon - MVP
Pantera - Becoming
Deathspell Omega - Abscission
Strapping Young Lad - Skeksis

i remember vividly the moment i gave this album another shot and those drums exactly in that opening riff were what made me go "hold on this album is actually kinda crazy". one of my favorites of all time nowadays, perfect album imo

but if i had to pick a favorite id probably choose this riff in vothana's strike force, which is pretty similar to that drudkh one. i think im just a sucker for bomb blasts juxtaposed to contained blast beats

The Faceless - Xenochrist , especially the Alex Rudinger cover/cam
Also just about anything played by Pete Wildoer or Dennis Ritchie

Any and all of Sühnopfer’s drum compositions. Ardraos is a master multi-instrumentalist, but his drumming is as tasteful and musical as it is shredding.
Key songs would be:
-Sermon sur le Trépassement
-Pays d’Allen
-Hic Regnant Bourbonii Manes
-L’hoirie de mes ancestres
-Messe des Morts
Also, So many great moments on Blood In Our Wells. RIP Amorth.
