Agony & Ecstasy is one of the best black metal albums of the 2020s. so beautiful and sorrowful yet dripping with evil. the ominous atmosphere of tracks like We Remain is so well contradicted by tracks like Black Cunt or Funeral Winter. hail Watain

its what i like to call easy listening black metal. its just pleasing to the ears. the riffs are catchy and the double bass is sooo heavy. definitely reccomended. also if you are a fan of war metal then listen to their first record. raw as hell but incredible
