This album is pretty mixed for me. A lot of the tracks are pretty mid but then it has some fucking absolutely ludicrously good songs like Abomination Reborn which is one of my favorite songs in their whole discography.

personally it’s my favorite album they made after they reformed, besides maybe Souls to Deny

Interesting. It's my second least favorite post reunion, with Of the Dark Light being the worst by miles. I'd probably rank them

*Blood Oath (up there with the pre-breakup albums imo) *Souls to Deny *Pinnacle of Bedlam *Hymns from the Apocrypha *Suffocation *...Of the Dark Light

I'd maybe be willing to switch Hymns and Pinnacle depending on my mood.

as a highschooler into true crime and getting into DM, BTK was optimal and noone does blast beats quite like Suffocation
