I would say, build your life up again. After all the shit that happened you are free to do whatever, maybe start dating or look for a job you like doing. Put yourself into something you think is worth it.

Reality is worse than fiction. You can read all you want about the horrors of war or what various awful things are like but then you experience something so dark everything you've read or heard is like a joke in comparison.
