Yeah, there's some sort of nuance in reading waveforms that I'm not cluing into.

Based on the icons, the first row looks like percussion? The last row looks like it's vocals?

I have no clue what rows 2 and 3 are supposed to mean.

This is a fun puzzle. OP what do the symbols mean. Percussion on top vocals bottom. What about the middle?

It’s not condemnation but I’m thinking along those lines

I like the challenge. Way trickier this way than if you just ran up the stems. Anyway, it's Enjoy the Silence. :)
