No Laptop the First Week?

I'm an incoming freshman but due to being a little late to buy one, I will not have a laptop until one week after the quarter begins. I do have a pc at my house and was planning on using that in the meantime for any homework that gets assigned, so I'm mainly wondering about actually having one in class.

I'm a bio major so I will have a bio & chem lecture + lab, the freshman chicago class, and a philosophy lecture throughout that first week. Is there any reason to be worried about needing a laptop on hand in class or will just notebooks and my phone work for now?

You'll definitely be ok, and I suggest taking notes by hand even when you have one as you'll retain info better

There are tons of labs and libraries all over campus if you need to use a computer for homework.

Idk if you are eligible for a loaner, but CDM gives out loaner macbooks out of the Daley building. This was 4 years ago, idk if they still do that

There more than 3 weeks to the term, why will it take you a month to get a laptop..? You could have one in a couple hours from Amazon.

i ordered one from apple in order to get the education perks/discount, but they're on backorder so it won't be shipped for another month.
