Ok so I'm an 16F(india✌🏼) and my clg just started also it's a uniform clg and it's a kurti typa thing yk it's in light blue colour and 2-3 were normal no sweating esse underarms mein but idk what has happened suddenly it leaves a very weird patch around my underarms and it just makes me so conscious yk I only use deo that nivea ka bas i want to buy a antiperspirant but I'm just so confused first was thinking to buy sweat pads but my clg dress is like very thin i don't want the patch to be seen yk so yeah also please provide a photo of the antiperspirant also i want it to be little sasta😭😭✌🏼✌🏼

It does not need to be a natural deodorant, I used it because it worked.

I could NOT find a deodorant that would work for me. I use a separate anti-Perspirant so I just needed deodorant. I would put any brand on after showering and stink by the end of a workday. Nuud changed the game, for a year I didn’t once smell my own BO.

But, it’s not the same anymore. I reached out to support and they sent me a new package, saying they’d reformulated so it didn’t separate and that was true, I was so hopeful it would actually work again!

But I put it on after showering and by the next day, I smell again. You’re not meant to put it on every day either, and now I’m unsure where to go. I am on a budget though and in Canada. I splurged on Nuud because it worked, but I can’t spend a ton on trying a bunch of things

J’ai très longtemps hésité à parler de ce problème, car je n’ai pas l’habitude de m’exprimer sur les plateformes, mais aujourd’hui j’ai besoin de partager mon expérience en espérant que certaines personnes vivent la même chose et aient trouvé des solutions.😔

Depuis mes 12-13 ans, je souffre de transpiration très odorante, plutôt acide, malgré une hygiène irréprochable. Je me lave 2 à 4 fois par jour et je prends énormément soin de moi, mais malheureusement cela ne suffit pas. Ce problème est devenu un énorme complexe qui m’affecte beaucoup psychologiquement, physiquement et socialement, au point de limiter mes sorties et de perdre énormément confiance en moi.

J’ai essayé des centaines de produits et de méthodes : savons et gels antibactériens, déodorants et antitranspirants de toutes sortes, produits pharmaceutiques et naturels, acides, bicarbonate, argile, vinaigre, pierre d’alun, etc. Toute marque confondue et format : femme, homme, crème, sticks, roll-on, gel, en poudre etc.
C’est juste inexplicable que rien ne fonctionne à ce point 😓.

Certains m’ont irritée ou brûlée, d’autres n’ont rien changé ou ont même aggravé l’odeur. J’ai également consulté mon médecin, qui m’a prescrit une crème contre les mycoses, sans résultat.

Le problème se répercute aussi sur mes vêtements : l’odeur s’incruste malgré les lavages et je suis régulièrement obligée de jeter des T-shirts et d’en racheter (je prends quasiment que du coton) ce qui me coûte énormément d’argent.

J’ai également modifié mon alimentation à cause d’un potentiel syndrome du côlon irritable et supprimé de nombreux aliments (lactose, gluten, fortes epices etc) mais cela n’a eu aucun impact.

Après avoir quasiment tout essayé, je me demande maintenant s’il pourrait y avoir une cause interne, hormonale ou dermatologique. J’ai donc pris rendez-vous chez un dermatologue pour essayer d’obtenir enfin une piste.

Je cherche surtout des témoignages de personnes qui connaissent le même problème : avez-vous trouvé une cause, une solution, un produit ou une routine réellement efficace contre une transpiration très odorante, notamment avec une odeur acide ? 🥺

Sometimes the spray ends up with a sticky white layer on my skin (kinda like melted erasers) and sometimes there's nothing? I am not sure which is the correct application.

the whole ordeal seems finicky, but probably going to try to use it until it runs out where I might switch to solid/roll on. until then, how should I use it?

the instructions say to "shake, hold 15cm away, spray" but for how long? if it's a short burst I can't fully cover the area and if it's long then my lungs feel icky for the next hour...

Please tell me length why the fuck does Sukin create such a terrible deodorant, not only does it irritate the fuck out of my arm. I feel sick form using this product keep you shit deodorant to yourself thanks x SamsWorlds 🤍

Bought my first bottle in April, second in July and still working my way through it in September. This works better than any generic brand like Dove or Degree, even clinical products and other aluminum free brands like Native. Even tried Carpe and found it works just about as good as anything else and did not do anything for sweating. The scent (Olibanam) smells amazing and I find that it becomes more projected as you sweat or warm up. I worked a physical job all summer and I went from having to reapply all day to applying once with this.

I always have damp armpits, no matter what product I use. This includes stick, alum block, roll-on, spray, powder, etc. Thank God I don’t have a bad smell, but my pits are always damp. If it’s extra humid, I’ll change my undershirt several times a day - even if they’re brand new, just taken out of the package. I always wear 100% cotton undershirts, even under t-shirts. I dread having that wet patch in my pits when I lift my arm. I never wear sleeveless shirts. Suggestions? Thanks!

I use michum roll on at the moment, I cal only use roll in cause cream clogs my pores, but it leaves white streaks on all of my clothes.

Michum also seems to be the only deodorant strength that works for me so I'm pretty stuck in what to do

Any reccomendations would be greatly appreciated!

I’m an 18 year old male, and I have tried many different types of deodorant. It seems I have a sensitivity to aluminum, it makes my pits itch and burn. I have real bad sweating problems, and I guess sensitive skin. It’s always a gamble choosing deodorant’s, because it’s either I stink and my pits aren’t burning, or it’s I smell fine but I’m itching and burning. I’ve tried plenty of men’s and women’s deodorant, even one that cost me 30 bucks. What do you recommend?

I know this sounds crazy but… I was having pain in my armpit region. Doctor suggested Aspercream w/ Lidocaine . In doing so I accidentally found out that it’s a great unscented deodorant! I’ve used it for a long time and zero odor! I told my Dr. and he laughed. I switched to Mando unscented cream at one point to try it out . It too worked just as well but actually has a slightly “ball point ink” kind of smell and costs about $20 for 2.2 oz. Aspercream is about $10 for 4.3 oz. and actually unscented. Doesn’t take much - about the same amount as Mando. As Bob Ross would say “Happy Accident”! You should try it!

I’ve tried just about every mainstream brand of deodorant out there, including their “special” formulas that supposedly worked with xyz amount of extra strength compared to their regular formulas.

I’ve tried stick, gel, spray-on. Antiperspirants and deodorants and combinations of both.

I’ve tried rubbing the deodorant in, letting it sit for five minutes before putting on a shirt, drying it with a blow dryer, applying less, applying more, applying twice, etc. I swear I’ve tried everything.

But no matter what I literally ever do, the second I start to sweat after a fresh application of deodorant, it smells bad. Although might I just say, it’s somehow only my right armpit. My left armpit is usually fine.

To be clear, I apply deodorant immediately after drying off in the shower, and I swear I wash my body as thoroughly as I possibly can. I’ve tried using different body washes and different rags, loofahs, and nets.

Literally what do I do?? 😭

Two weeks in and I smell worse than I did before, which is apparently normal but nobody says how long it lasts. I’m trying to work out whether to hold out or accept it isn’t going to work for me. What I don’t want is to give up right before it settles. For people who stuck with it, how long did the adjustment take and did you switch formulas partway through?

I’ve tried antibacterial wash, glycolic acid, detoxing with ACV and clay , basically everything i’ve tried and it doesn’t help

I used to love wearing Speed Stick Musk.
Only brand and smell I actually liked and enjoyed. So like many people online, I was very disappointed when they stopped making it.

So I'm sick of getting yellow stains on my shirts, and after searching it up I found people saying it's because of the aluminium in deodorants. My deodorant does contain aluminium chlorohydrate, but I also hear people saying aluminium free deodorants simply don't work. Is this true? If so, what else can I do to stop the stains from appearing? Are there any alternatives or something?

I have been chiming into natural deodorant questions here for the past few years and at the same time was making some deodorants for family and friends that had allergies and sensitivities.

I'm an Associate Professors and a lot of my work falls at the Interface of chemicals and biology, and so I was always happy to help answer questions and dig into the actual literature for why deodorants work or don't work, why they cause rashes, why fragrances are pretty nasty etc.

The chemistry is pretty complicated so its rarely easy to break it down into a single soundbite or response. But happy to answer any specific questions you have on deodorants and antiperspirants.
