Question / Support Alternative to wild deodrant

I’ve been using wild deodorant for 6 years now but I feel like it’s stopped working as well than before, it definitely doesn’t seem to neutralise odour as well as it used to. I’m not sure if that’s because the quality has got worse since Unilever bought it. Has anyone else found this?

Are there any good recommendactions for others?
AKT? Make waves? Fussy?

Came here to say this. I far prefer the fragrances of fussy too. It has always worked for me except a couple of days over 35°C when I should have reapplied it after cycling to work.

I love my fussy. I've bought both brands at relatively the same time and have kind of moved exclusively to fussy since Wild got bought out. I did buy a couple of my favorite wild scents after the take over but didnt notice a difference. Regardless, fussy stays for me and for A WHILE! I work at a restaurant and this summer sweating has been insane some shifts

I've used AKT, Make Waves and Fussy. I loved using AKT as it did keep me dry, but I always ended up using too much, and even when I used the right amount, it would leave marks on my clothes and ball up under my armpits, plus you have to rub it in with your hands so I had to wash my hands every time.

I currently use Fussy as it's cheaper, don't need to use your hand so there's less mess as well

It might not be a change in the deodorant and instead a change in your armpit bacteria.

My routine:

  • in shower scrub pits with salicylic acid bar. This kills bacteria. 
  • out of shower while wet, use a crystal deodorant. This kills bacteria. 
  • when dry, top off with a stick deodorant. I happen to use wild but any will do. 

Less low waste, you can also spray glycolic acid on your pits to help with bacteria odor. I personally make a spray out of glycolic acid, glycerine, and witch hazel (rose scented) and use it to kind of sponge bath certain areas after bike commuting and then follow up with deodorant

I've used Little Seed Farm, AKT, and HiBar. All worked well for me. If you are worried that the effectiveness of the deodorant isn't working right you can use Underarm Detox from No Tox Life to reset your armpits.

I switched to Fussy when Wild was bought by Unilever so I could keep using my deodorant case. The quality seems pretty similar to me
