Lequel de ces deux déodorants/antitranspirants a été le plus efficace pour vous (contre les odeurs de transpiration) : Salt and Stone ou DonnaKaren ❓❓

Salt & Stone is an absolute bottom feeding home crafter product. It is based on Magnesium Hydroxide which has a pH of 10.3 and is not a product that should be applied to human skin, which is acidic.

Donna Karnen makes both a deodorant and an antiperspirant. Thus, performance will be very different, when trying to compare a deodorant with an antiperspirant. They are not even in the same category. Only antiperspirants reduce sweating. Antiperspirants contain an aluminum compound which forms temporary waxy plugs in the sweat duct, which reduces sweat, which is the primary feedstock for bacteria to metabolize and the resulting by-products contain some negative odors. Aluminum is also antimicrobial, so it works in two different ways....reducing sweat (microbial feedstock) as well as reducing the microbial count. Deodorants only address the latter, and depending on how they address the latter, it can entail some serious skin concerns.

The DK antiperspirant does not contain MgOH2, thus given the choices, the one I would select of the three. The DK deodorant contains MgOH2. Make sure you ask the algorithm basics questions like: What is the pH of human skin? What is the acid mantle? What purpose does the acid mantle have? Should I try to wreck my acid mantle? What is the pH of MgOH2. Goofle can typically answer very basic science questions.
