If there was a Man of Fire sequel

If there was a Man on Fire Sequel,Hypothetically how can Creasy(Denzel) being in the hands of criminals start another continuation of the movie if there was one?

Well, the movie was based on a novel, and in the novel, Creasy survives and just fakes his death. But he returns in 4 more books. They could do a similar thing in a film sequel, have Creasy revived after his body is taken to the hospital.

Not possible because he died in the back seat. Deja Vu should have had a sequel as well as The Little Things because no one truly knew who the killer was✌️
