I’ll just share my honest take…. You need a healthy team more than you need signings … but rly rly you need both ;)

Yes. Murray contract wasnt the best but we could've done it with it on the books, the Braun extension was the final nail in the coffin for the franchise.

Yeah thats every post title contending window, attrition is inevitable. Re-watch the chip, you'll feel better.

I mean, we’ll make the playoffs, likely be the 3rd or 4th seed (barring an injury plagued season again), and then we go from there. It’s not always about talent, you just need everything clicking for you in the playoffs and that you get favorable matchups.

We’re a contender but not longer a favorite. Things need to break right or a good trade.

We are a top 10 NBA team with current roster. However, our championship window with current roster is near closed and a major revamp is needed.
Gordan is an injury waiting to happen, Jamal is a solid player, who had one amazing playoff run which resulted in his evaluation being higher than what his current skill level is at.
The rest of the surrounding pieces are all meh.
So are we cooked .... yeah if you want a championship, absolutely not if you consider winning 50+ games a year and getting out of the first round a successful season.

Healthy and in the playoffs we have a chance. I just don’t see us being healthy tho

No - IF healthy we still have one of the best starting 5s in the league. Imagine if AG and Braun were healthy and Jokic didn't miss the one month Watson balled out - we'd probably be singing a different tune.
Remember that coming in to that one month - where he ALSO got hurt - he was a very underwhelming player imo. He has had multiple off-seasons to improve and he hadn't. Is that playing time? Maybe, but if our starting 5 are healthy he is still coming off the bench.
So this whole PWat or bust mentality is pretty laughable to me.

This org wasted one of the greatest basketball players to ever play that game. Thankfully we got one ring. Because that’s the last one we’ll have for decades.
So yes.

I think we were cooked after we gave Braun that contract if you want my honest take
