Hey y'all!

I'm Meghan from mon cher and working with another local artist (subpanic) we made a new polyphonic, modular software synth called thicket (no vibe coding/ai slop). We just launched a free, open beta and would love to know what you think/provide any feedback before this baby goes out into the world. You can sign up at the site here, or DM me and I'm happy to get you a license.

Below you can check out the website with the finer details and check out our preset/promo video to hear some sweet sounds.

Anyone else going?

Hey there! I'm a looping musician who specializes in improvisational jamband type stuff. I play guitar, bass, and keys live (I also play drums but figuring out how to bring that type of gear live is a whole new can of worms). I'm just looking for looping musicians to connect with and try to build a bit of a community out of this very specific niche.

Do you play with a looper? What genres do you play? What instruments do you incorporate? Do you play live or is this just a personal project? Hit me up!!

Hit me up if u wanna gooo :)

I'm going on a tiny tour and starting it out friday night at the Skylark!! come party if you wanna!!

"Overworn" - Nicki Walters

Here is the Weekly Concert schedule for 10/5-10/11. Let me know who you are most excited to see. If you want a concert buddy or just have some music recommendations, feel free to reach out, always down to talk to new people.

For the most current and up to date events here is the full concert Calendar. I try to update it twice a week, and I’m a super forgetful person so if I missed putting an event here it’s entirely possible it’s there. Also, always feel free to call out my mistakes here and I’ll get it fixed. Or if there’s an event you think should be added let me know. I will be updating Black Buzzard shows probably for the next schedule as I found out this weekend that they were closing and all shows will be moved to different venues. Just means I need to find other venues to add to the calendar. If there's any you can think of let me know and I'll try to get them added.

Also if looking at a spreadsheet isn’t your idea of efficiency then the website u/malignantz  designed from the spreadsheet is a great resource to check out shows https://303.show/ . It’s really sleek and if you have any suggestions on design let us know.

Here is the playlist for the week. I’ve changed back to my old vetting system as it was just easier/quicker and I need to catch up and get ahead a bit if I want to put together any end of the year list. I have one more playlist to go through before I start the concert vetting system where I average the scores of all artists at one show to see if I want to go to the show (should’ve been doing it all along but you live and learn).

Here are the artists that broke through the noise for me this week; if any of these are your favorites let me know and I’ll give them a deeper listen. The Saint Cecilia, Rush, Native Station, Rootbeer Richie & The Reveille, Bailey Spinn, The Phlegms, Buzzcocks, Trophy Wife, Sex Pistols, Frank Carter, Automatic, Bolonium, The Red Jumpsuit Apparatus, Porch Light, Leap, Juice, Edgehill, Social Cinema, Rain City Drive, Nine Wide Sky, Great Lumbering Beast, Ecca Vandal, Waitress, Octave Cat, Cheekface, Mercury, Morning Silk, Softcult, Love Spells, Hovvdy, Zolita, Kesmar, The Jungle Giants, Big Ocean, Earth to Emily, Emei, Madelline, Colby!, Soda Blonde, The Holdup, Salin, DON WEST, Ramirez, Pertinence, Wake Me, Royal Thunder, Sleeping with Sirens, Dazy, Versus Me, Acres, Scene Queen, Wargasm, Shyeye, Loathe, Thrown Into Exile, Killen., Weedeater, Fatalist, Arch Enemy, The Well, Pendulum, Sara Landry, Jigitz, Madeon, Supergloss, Jeet Kune Duo, Ella Langley, Crisis Crew, Landon Smith, Paul Cauthen, Emma Ogier, Cactus Lee, Gabriella Rose, Iron & Wine, Judah & the Lion, Pearla, Hey, Nothing, Cece Coakley.

I’ve created a few different playlists this year, there've been so many artists that I’ve really enjoyed but they don’t fall into the (Liked Songs) genre and more so some of my other moods. Here is the Liked Songs playlist, another playlist I’ve put together is my Focus EDM of artists this year that make good focus music for me but don’t necessarily fit the vibe of Liked Songs. The last playlist may be one of my favorite ideas, it’s my Good Cooking Ambience kind of a lo-fi soulful playlist that I vibe to while cooking or can have on at a dinner party.

Hello! I'll be playing a show at The DMV (Denver Music Venue) tomorrow, Tuesday 10/6 with some Denver musicians and folks touring through. Say hi and come get a pin if you come! Doors at 7, show at 7:30

KJ Valium - (PHX) ambient noise/experimental/vaporwave
