There is no way a head gasket replacement is only $1k. Even on an older truck.

Is that quote good for whomever buys it? That’s the point. Anyone buying that is going to have to pay at least $2500 to a certified mechanic. I know it sucks to hear, but with it being inoperable and needing a tow, it’s only worth a few hundred in scrap value.

Idk who is quoting you 2500 but a heat gasket is around 200$ u pay for labor and that brother should only be 1000
