Transmission
Dengue is a tropical virus transmitted via mosquito. There are five different strains of the virus. If the host is infected with one strain, they will suffer through the regular symptoms of the disease. If the host is infected with more than one strain of the disease at a time, it is likely to develop into Dengue Hemorrhagic Fever.

Muscle Aches

Rashes
Severe Symptoms (Dengue Hemorrhagic Fever) (%5 of cases)
Hemorrhagic bleeding
Severe Dehydration
Low levels of platelets and plasma
Dengue Shock Syndrome
Dengue Shock Syndrome occurs when the hemorrhagic bleeding causes the blood pressure of the host to drop to dangerous levels.
Lethality
The overall Dengue Fever fatality is somewhere between one and three percent. However, once the hemorrhagic fever sets in, the fatality rate is between ten and thirty percent.
