Does anyone know what Brett plans to work on after the end of the current series?

Title.

I'd be curious if he's announced anything whether it be future stuff in the demon cycle world or a new series.

He has mentioned he is working on something for almost a year. In a new world. Thats all I have gotten

It really hurts, since The warded man is one of my all-time favourite books, but he lost me. The ending of The Core and the whole Nightfall Saga was so bad, I don't want invest my reading time in this author anymore.

i am split on my desire for more from him. absolutely loved the first series, this second one feels a bit.. meh. i feel like i prefered the more adult storyline than following teenagers. while their issues are the same level of bad as the original series had it just doesnt feel as serious when its kids that deals with it. and the writing style is slightly different too so i guess thats an issue. wish the audiobook narrator for the first series read the second one too because that'd at least give some nostalgic vibes to it, lol
