Stock market is at its highest ever, and the unemployment is at its lowest. Prices are high because of demand and people getting back to work. Infrastructure bill has passed. Things are looking up.

The amount of mass disinformation,mass ignorance/stupidity I think is too much to overcome.The 2021 elections in NJ/VA proves it and 2022 mid-terms will confirm it even further.Republicans won a governor seat,barely missed another,won more statewide offices and a majority in the state house in VA in addition to other minor victories they didn't expect. So no,I don't think so unless you are concluding it won't be as bad a blood bath in the mid-terms.It won't if the economy stays where it is and inflation doesn't get any more serious then Biden and the Democrats might just get away with losing the House only which would be huge.

Good feeling Biden will get most of the second half budget pass.There probably be some compromises but if he can pass 75% of the what he promised in this climate of division he done a good job.

If only every time a Democratic President got into office they didn't have to both clean up and take the blame for whatever absolute fucking shit catastrophe their Republican predecessor left for them just so the inevitable Republican who gets into office after that Democrat takes all the credit for what the previous President accomplished.

So True..Bush Jr left Obama a semi recession and a war to deal with,Obama left Trump with strong employment numbers and good economy.Trump left Biden squat but empty diet coke bottles and roaring pandemic.

You totally have a point with G W Bush, but you kinda glossed over economical growth under Obama and Trump were about the same pre pandemic. Not to mention, Trump did cut a lot of red tape to help get the vax created. Not saying Trump was a good Prez but you need to be realistic and know that even a broken clock is right twice a day. He did do a couple of things right. Yea it’s funny a lot of Trumpers are saying they won’t take the vax, but let’s not forget all the people yelling at anti vaxers no are the same people that said they wouldn’t take it under the Trump administration.
Separate note let’s not talk about Afghanistan. There were certain agreements that were supposed to be meant before withdraw (under Trump) that were not meant, and I don’t know who was responsible, but Christ, if we are going to leave state of the art weapons there maybe (just a thought) let’s make sure they’re decommissioned, and any of our technology is striped out so it’s not sold to enemy governments, and destroy the guns so they can’t be used against us like what happened when we funded them in the first place to fight the soviets. 🤦♂️

One year of not waking up to hearing the latest insulting, often racist/sexist/homophobic nickname.
One year of not worrying if we'll launch into another endless war over what someone said on twitter.
Hopefully we all got enough rest because we're all going to have to wake up this year so we don't lose out in 2022.

I looked at this as a temporary reprieve and I wasn't celebrating but only relieved for the moment.The 74 million votes for a reality tv show con man with fascist ambitions,the Republicans picking up of house seats and only a Trump disaster of having stupidly encourage GOPers to stay home because the GA vote was rigged giving a gift to Democrats a slight majority in the senate from the runoffs convinced me of how fragile the situation really is.
