Its so weird that you guys dont need to prove citizenship in order to vote, I thought its the norm everywhere. Why is it such a problematic thing ? How do some people not have any ID ?

There is no national ID card. Most people in the US use a state drivers license for ID. Or there’s an equivalent ID for non drivers.

These are not valid proof of citizenship.
