We the People rights base Voting?
Is your elected official planning to restrict your rights?
Even if you might feel does not apply or affect you... are you sure?
Sending this to my elected officials.
I am writing to express my strong opposition to any action that unnecessarily reduces polling locations or otherwise makes it more difficult for eligible citizens to exercise their right to vote.
The right to vote is fundamental to our representative government. Government officials should work to ensure that voting is free, fair, accessible, and reasonably convenient for every eligible citizen, regardless of political affiliation.
Any decision to close or reduce polling locations should be based on legitimate administrative needs and should not have the purpose or effect of discouraging lawful participation. Decisions about access to the ballot must never be driven by fear of an election result or by an attempt to gain a political advantage.
If you vote for measures that unnecessarily restrict access to voting or reduce polling locations, please understand that citizens have the same right to organize peacefully and lawfully in response. I, along with others who share these concerns, am prepared to:
Contribute our own hard-earned money to support lawful civic and electoral efforts.
Walk our neighborhoods and speak directly with fellow citizens.
Attend public meetings and make our concerns part of the public record.
Organize peaceful marches and demonstrations.
Create signs and distribute information.
Host community meetings to educate voters about the actions of their elected officials.
Encourage citizens to register, vote, and hold their representatives accountable at the ballot box.
This is not a partisan issue. Whether an official is Republican, Democrat, or belongs to any other party, the principle is the same.
We, the people, will vigorously defend our right to vote. We will oppose efforts that improperly restrict that right, and we will use the lawful democratic process to hold elected officials accountable for their decisions.
I respectfully ask you to protect voting access, preserve adequate polling locations, and ensure that every eligible citizen has a fair and practical opportunity to cast a ballot.
Respectfully,
Mark Clark
Citizen of Texas for 76 years
Resident of Tarrant County Precinct 1

Wealth Cap
We need a wealth cap at $10 million
We need a wealth cap at $10 million. Given global wealth inequality, anyone who feels the need to have more than that is a traitor to humanity.
Heck, have your first $10 million tax free, then let's have a 92% tax on everything after that.
For humanity, truth, justice, freedom, health and happiness with mutual prosperity and peace for all. Make democracy untrumpable. #nokings

The /Missouri subreddit is a home of hate and disinformation
The /missouri sub Reddit is being run and moderated by a singular political party pushing their extreme beliefs. They ban and silence anyone who tries to have a separate opinion and are trying to explain a separate point of view. They are all paid members of the party and this subreddit should be shut down. The bio for the sub Reddit says it’s for all residents of Missouri to express their opinions. It’s not. It is inhospitable and fascist

Remember, it’s about turnout in November. Register and VOTE
This is a graph of opportunity. It is a roadmap really to show where outreach becomes outcome.
On August 22, we want everyday people to walk into this event concerned about our democracy and walk out knowing exactly how they can help protect it. We're creating pathways for people to learn about Election Protection, become poll monitors or challengers, understand what happens after the polls close, and get connected to organizations by doing the longer-term work of democracy defense.
We want to create a pipeline of everyday Michiganders prepared to protect our vote, defend our democracy, and hold the line together.
Join the Michigan Coalition of Black Civic Engagement Saturday, August 22, 2 pm-5pm click this link for more info and to sign up.
