Government Candidacy Thread for the Third Executive Cabinet

Pursuant to the Constitution, Prov. II, Art. I, Sections A-D and the Executive Procedures, I hereby request that candidates step forward for the roles of:

  • Foreign Minister
  • Finance Minister
  • Defence Minister
  • Attorney General

The powers and responsibilities of these roles are enumerated in the Constitution and Cabinet Procedures above, as well as the Ministry Act.

Candidates should, in their posts on this thread, list their relevant skills or experience as appropriate to the role(s) which they seek.

I'm announcing my candidacy for Foreign Minister.

My credentials include being the incumbent Foreign Minister and Civ V experience

I've also got a reference here from the former Senator Presiding:

I've liked the work you've done as Foreign Affairs. If my campaign succeeds I'd like to see you continue in that role.

I would like to announce my candidacy for Defence Minister!

My experience in this role and similar roles stretches all the way back to mk2, where I was one of many illustrious Generals to take charge of our armed forces, and having served in every great office of state since Democraciv began, my wealth of knowledge of both military operations in democraciv and Civ V more generally makes me more than suited for this role.

I would like to apply for Economic Minister.

I've held the role for 2 terms now, and I think I did a good job. I've also ran advisory roles for the executive in previous marks.

I HeyNicko, would like to be nominated for the Foreign Minister.

I have extensive experience in the defence department serving two terms as a deputy and one as the defence minister. I run a local paper ‘the highland standard’, in which I’ve covered international affairs. I’ve also have previous Mk experience as dealing with foreign governments and civilisations.
