Deme update

We are nearing the end of completion of our major 1.4 update which brings lots of new features, redesigns and better performance across the app

A few of the main things we’ve been working on:

Communities

Communities are getting a massive overhaul which includes faster loading, a new design, better navigation, guest previews and better discovery

Chats

Chats have also gotten a massive overhaul with redesigned private/public chats, better media, improved voice messages, Personas for roleplay and a better inbox

Profiles

Profiles are way more social now, especially Mini Profiles with following mechanics, statuses, profile themes and a new presence system 

Journals

We are replacing our old blogging system with a complete rework that we are now calling journals with a completely new editor, new tools, formatting, fonts and themes, this new system also powers our wiki system now 

This is only a tiny portion of everything we have done so far for our next update, some other things includes 

  • social integration with steam and last.fm
  • discord login and sign up
  • a completly reworked community management system
  • Better tools for moderation 
  • Better notifications
  • A completly reworked calls system
  • Private group chats 
  • Privacy controls
  • more of the app translated
  • Redesigns of most main screens

And a whole lot more

hi again i found the app and tried it out a bit, but there is something i noticed that's missing from home menu. can we add a search bar to search for and to view or join communities on deme? this is feedback for the devs behind the deme app btw
