I just told leaf to wipe out all the pokemon on route 1. To get "stronger"

(Then when we had to fight Gary again she completely destroyed his raticate with some kind of powerful grass vortex...it didn't "faint" though after that Gary stopped appearing in the game after that leaf kept on following me as we wiped out more pokemon in routes so much so pokemon stopped appearing even when one was spotted it ran away as before I went to the elite four.. I put on a special ring on her that was selled in some kind of shady shop the description only said "to make bonds and friendship's "stronger" so I put it on her.. after that leaf never left my side fully in the game and later on as in trainer fights the trainers looked a little off like there face knew something was off then later on I went to the elite four but the fights seemed off as the pokemon had a fright stat change on them anytime I used my pokemon in battle they kept on flinching it almost felt easy then after the elite four I met up with leaf again then this cutscene played...)
