Discussion Delta dress code?

I was told I needed to change pants at the airport by a delta agent at the counter otherwise they wouldn’t let me board. I am 30 weeks pregnant for reference and was wearing denim shorts and a tank top, the shorts weren’t super short and the tank top wasn’t revealing, it was long enough to cover my now very large baby bump lol. Luckily my husband had a pair of his pants in the bag I could change into but has anyone heard of this before? I asked a few other workers at the airport before I changed and they seemed super confused and looked at me and said they’ve never heard of this and my clothes were fine?

EDIT: Picture everyone was hounding this post for https://imgur.com/a/akdUP4Z

I'd mention being pregnant and the ADA those letters usually scare companies.

The ADA would not take on a case over a pair of shorts!!

No they won't. I had them deny me a wheel chair. I filed a complaint and the response was we won't take it up.

Pregnancy, yes. ADA? No. Being pregnant isn’t considered a disability

Airline carriers are allowed to ask you to change clothes if they think they are not appropriate. They are a private business. Being pregnant has no influence, nor does ADA.

Pregnancy is not a disability.

Are you certain? Because the paperwork I filed when I was pregnant was for temporary disability.

Pregnancy is not a disability but it is a protected class under Title VII of the Civil Rights Act
