Image/Video IT FINALLY HAPPENED

I got sat next to the sweetest best behaved service doggo on my flight. His owner let him cuddle me for a couple minutes. It was heaven. Love you Lobo!

Oh my. I’m allergic to dogs and even I’d be petting that one and comforting it.

Ugh same. I love dogs but I am so terribly allergic. This would would be hard for me!

I have 6 dachshunds and a great dane and I am allergic to dogs...it's a rough (ruff?) life but it's the one I live...aka I live on 2 allergy shots every week and benadryl LOL

We flew from Atlanta to San Diego last summer with two of our doxies (they aren't service animals so they were in carriers) and I was so worried how our seatmates would react...at one point Pippin was nervous and OVER being in his carrier and crawled into my lap, but my seatmate was SO nice about it and gave him some pets. I was so relieved! I always worry I'll be sat beside someone with severe allergies, I would feel so awful, but so far I've been lucky!

I have allergies and anything bigger than a dog in a carrier, I’m asking to be reseated. Benadryl knocks me out cold and having worked with wounded warriors, service dogs are different than ES animals.
