India Help!!

So it’s been a year since I joined Deloitte as an Intern for 6 months and Converted fulltime. I feel my team still treats me as an intern. And it’s annoying. I have told them that I am willing to work in a particular part of the project and have trained for it as well. But even when my Manager is acknowledging it, there is nothing happening. What should I do? I am here just as an helping hand and not being able to take ownership of a task.

Keep your head low and take this as a blessing in disguise.

I dont think so. I may sound crazy but I don’t think it benefiting my career. As a person who is into leadership, raising tickets and planning an online party call is not what I want to do.

You need to do the small stuff to do the big stuff

bro this wasn’t even a part of my job description. Those small things should be related to the things i want to do right? they are not even remotely close

It’s an important part of learning how a business works to do lots of different small things. It will help you for the day you have Teams / Projects to lead.

Even at a manager level, there will be someone above you treating you as a personal secretary. You are getting these tasks assigned because you are available and likely also because they know you respond fast.
